About MantRA 

Manthorpe Residents Association, MantRA, was born out of a public meeting organised by Tony and Wendy Burns in February 2008. It was officially constituted at its second public meeting in May 2008.

The objectives of MantRA are: 

  • To safeguard and promote the interests of residents
  • To help improve living conditions, community facilities and services for residents
  • To promote a healthy community by encouraging the development of activities, meetings and events within the area.

The area of Grantham covered by the Association comprises:

  • Manthorpe Road, north of its junction with Belton Lane*
  • Houses between this portion of Manthorpe Road and the River Witham **
  • The Manthorpe Estate
  • Manthorpe Village

* Including Lodge Way and Progress Way.

** There is an existing residents' association on the Langford Gardens estate. MantRA will not be delivering leaflets to this area.

Residences within the grounds of Grantham Hospital are not included.

Membership is be open to all residents of the area, irrespective of tenure. Join us.

The Association is governed by a Committee which meets every few weeks.
